The 2025 "Splendid Treasures Revealed: The Tang Dynasty Mural Culture Special Exhibition Trilogy," co-organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCFL), the Shaanxi Cultural Relics Exchange Association, the Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Promotion Center and the Taiwan Chinese Hanwei Cultural Promotion Association, opened at the National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University of East China's Taiwan on April 17. The inaugural ceremony drew the attendance of over 100 people from from both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

At the opening ceremony, a group of young people dressed in exquisite Hanfu presented a situational show against the backdrop of playing the guqin (a seven-stringed zither) and guzheng (traditional Chinese plucked zither), receiving thunderous applause from participants. Liu Peng, secretary-general of Shaanxi Cultural Relics Exchange Association, acted as an on-site tour guide. Miao Yifei, a deputy researcher with Shaanxi Academy of Archeology, held a thematic lecture titled "Splendid Treasures Revealed: Newly-Excavated Tomb Murals of the Tang Dynasty" in relation to cultural relics housed by Shaanxi History Museum for over 100 people and engaged in exchanges with them.
The special exhibition is scheduled to run till May 16. By then, its tour of Taiwan-based universities will come to an end.
